What to know
The tour starts at 9:00 A.M and ends approximately at 04:00 P.M. It is recommended to wear comfortable sports shoes, as some walking will take place on uneven terrain.
Tour Program
After obtaining the tickets, we will visit one of the most impressive monasteries of early Christianity, where you’ll see unique frescoes dating back to the 9th and 10th centuries. Ticket for Open Air Museum 20€ + 6€ Dark Church.
Here, we’ll explore the most iconic fairy chimneys of the region. You’ll also have the chance to visit the Church of Saint Simon. Ticket 12€, this ticket is valid also for Zelve Open Air Museum.
In this tour, we will explore an ancient town abandoned by its inhabitants due to the danger of falling rocks. We will visit remarkable sites within the town, including rock-cut houses, a church, and a mosque. You can have the same ticket here with Pasabag Museum.
The Imagination Valley features uniquely shaped fairy chimneys so unusual that they can resemble animals or personal belongings—if your imagination allows! We’ll also take a short hike through the valley to fully immerse ourselves in its charm.
The town of Avanos, where the mythological Halys River flows, offers a rich cultural experience. After a brief panoramic tour of the town, we will visit a ceramic workshop with deep historical roots in the region.
The starting point of this day. The highest point in the region is the rock-cut tower of Uçhisar, offering breathtaking views of the entire area. For centuries, it served as a unique dwelling, resembling an above-ground version of an underground city. Entrance fee 4 euro.
Pigeon Valley, a nearly 5-kilometer-long valley, is one of Cappadocia's highlights. We’ll stop at a viewpoint offering a stunning panorama of the old town of Uçhisar and observe the traditional dovecotes carved into the rocks.
Underground cities are among the most iconic attractions in Cappadocia. Kaymaklı, the second-largest underground city in the world, awaits us for an unforgettable exploration. Ticket 13€
Mustafapaşa, historically known as Sinasos and often referred to as the "Athens of Cappadocia," is a former Christian village that still preserves some of the most beautiful houses in the region. Here, we will witness the poignant history of the population exchange.
Ortahisar is a surreal town offering breathtaking sights. While enjoying traditional coffee, we’ll admire the town’s iconic rock-cut tower. This will be the final stop on our tour.
